9月19日，中国教育报在显著位置用近3000字的篇幅，以《“精准”出招，阻断贫困代际传递》为题，对我校近年来开展精准扶贫工作进行了报道。

此前，7月13日，湖南日报也以《科技职院精准扶贫见成效》为题，报道了我校开展精准扶贫的经验与做法。
